Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

Morocco Encompassed surpassed my expectations. The trip covered everything from the coast, city, desert and mountains. I believe I was able to get a genuine feel of what Morocco has to offer. There are long bus days and a multitude of co-ops to visit but over all I would recommend the trip.

My bucket list dream was fulfilled on this trip to Morocco! Jawad and our local guides were all informative and terrific! I saw a Morocco I never could have found on my own! A once in a lifetime adventure on a cost-effective budget. I love that Intrepid Travel also gives back to the communities it visits. This is definitely a worthy investment. Thank you Jawad and Intrepid.

I had an amazing experience traveling with Intrepid. The trips are well-organized, and the itineraries are thoughtfully planned to showcase the best of each destination. Our guide, like Houcine in Morocco, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment enjoyable.
What I especially appreciated was the personal touch – the guides ensured everyone felt included and comfortable, and small details were always taken care of. From local experiences to unique activities, every part of the trip felt memorable.
Overall, I highly recommend Intrepid for anyone looking for an adventurous, well-managed, and culturally immersive travel experience. This was my third trip with Intrepid, and I’m still just as impressed as the first time.

The 15 day tour of Morocco was far more interesting and fun than expected. From the coast to the mountains to the desert the scenery changed dramatically. Our guide was full of enthusiasm and brought the Moroccon culture and history to life. He inspired the group to make it a really fun and interesting tour. There were so many highlights.

Brilliant tour in a beautiful country. Each town and city is so unique it’s hard to pick a favourite. If your lucky you will get Naima as a guide, she’s a legend! If your in the fence just book the trip you won’t regret it!
