Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

Manale was an excellent guide on our trip. Worked diligently to keep group together and well informed.
Excellent choices of places to visit and accommodations. Atlas Mountains and Essaouira where highlights. A little bit too much shopping at some stops but I understand how this helps supports local economy..

I've traveled extensively but this was my first time aa a solo traveler in a group. On paper the itinerary was great, in person it was spectacular. And Manele, our leader, whose passion for her country, its people and culture, and her consummate ability to make us all feel like family made this an unforgettable experience.

The Best of Morocco trip surpassed all expectations. Ayoub Saket was the best guide we could have asked for and made the entire experience seamless. It truly felt like we were able to experience the best of Morocco over the two weeks, and the itinerary felt well planned and perfectly paced. I felt incredibly safe throughout, and it was a privilege to experience all that Morocco had to offer. I do not think I would have been able to have the same experience traveling any other way.

The Best of Morocco tour really was amazing. It’s hard to summarise all the highlights: the beautiful town of Chefhaouen, the camel ride and Sahara sunset, Eid celebrations in Marrakesh and mule-riding in the High Atlas mountains: all led by our wonderful guide Fouad. Truly a holiday of a life time
