Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.
verified
There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

Best of Morocco tour led by Mustapha BENTALEB was excellent. We travelled lots of cities and did many activities. I personally prefer if we stayed in Tangier for the night and travel to Chefchouan for one night only as I think Tangier has lots more to offer. We also had electricity and showers in desert accommodation. Our tipping kitty was 600 MAD and overall I spent about 5000 MAD for my own expenses including tips etc. We used our water bottles mostly and our tour guide was handling getting multiple 5L waters for us per city. Just to mention while in north of Morocco try unique dishes like seafood, paella, camel meat etc as in south it's all about tagine and couscous. Also while in big cities visit shisha bars if you want a unique experience of local life. I was able to use my card half the time but cash is still important so use bank ATM to get cash instead of using exchange. I would recommend the tour but if your availability is falling short then I think other shorter Morocco tours would be good as well.

Exceptional! Classic Morocco was everything and more. We got to experience all areas of the country, from the sea at Essaouira to the Shrine at the High Atlas Mountains, to the camels of the Sahara and everything in between. Mohamed A, our tour guide was fun, friendly, full of knowledge, and passionate about sharing his country with visitors.
