Don’t let the heat keep you from exploring the world! Summer temperatures can be extremely high in Morocco (over 40°C), which can make things uncomfortable. It’s essential to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat, and drink plenty of water.

Ramadan is an annual month-long festival, during which travel can be a rewarding cultural experience, however some regular services may not be available during the day, such as restaurants or cafes, and occasionally travel can be disrupted by events. Your leader will adjust the itinerary accordingly, but please consider this when selecting your travel dates. You’ll find dates and further information in the ‘Climate and seasonal information’ section of the Essential Trip Information.

There are a couple of long travel days on this trip, particularly the day travelling to the Sahara Desert. Rest stops will be made on the way and you’ll be rewarded with great views on the drive itself.

The “Best of Morocco” trip exceeded my expectations, especially camping in the desert. However it was our guide Rachid who made the trip so memorable. He was enthusiastic, organized and knowledgeable. He really looked after us. JI will never forget the stories that he shared about his own life - truly inspirational!

This was my first trip with Intrepid and I really enjoyed my holiday. I would definitely recommend this tour company if you like smaller groups and a little off the beaten track.

Really enjoyed the trip. It was full on action packed as expected. Hichem was a great leader very responsive and attentive to the group and balanced being the leader and friendly with us as a group very well. Was concerned that the comfort stops would be at questionable places from previous travelers reviews but Hishem chose really good stops. Abdul was also a great driver. Would highly recommend this trip but be aware that it is action packed (in a good way).

My first time with Intrepid and it won’t be my last. Morocco was an amazing country especially brought to life by our wonderful guide Hicham who is an anwesome ambassador for the country. I’m not home yet and already looking at another trip in the near future.

Great trip that showed us the entire country. We were in mountains one day and by the ocean the next. We visited Medina's (old city centre) in every city we went thru. We stopped at cooperatives which sold local products like Rugs, Argan Oil, Rose creams etc. The food was fabulous and every restaurant had Pizza, Pasta, Tangine, Burgers, Fries, Tacs (more like enchiladas) etc. The food was great but everywhere we added salt (LOL). Would recommend this trip - just remember this is Best of Morocco and is not a 5 Star luxury trip, so don't expect luxury hotels. If you want luxury then you have to pay 2x the price. The hotels, Riads and Guest Houses were all clean and welcoming and located in great locations - close to everything.
