Discover the countryside around Battambang on a bike ride around rural farms to meet with local producers, through an Tuuur partner and social enterprise that supports the local communities and provides training opportunities.
Experience life on the water on a boat tour through the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake and understand the deep bond between the lake and the local communities.

My first time using Intrepid to two countries. It has been an excellent experience and I will be definitely using them again. I felt we had a more up close and personal view of the countries due to the amazing guides. I would highly recommend Intrepid for your next adventure.

Cambodia is a truly special place that I will always treasure. Throughout the Intrepid "Cambodian Traveler" tour, I felt safe and well-informed. Our guide, Sophia, was a good man who clearly cared for our well-being; his communication was honest and open, which built a lot of trust within the group. The itinerary was perfectly paced. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was unforgettable, and the cycling in Battambang and the bat caves were major highlights. I especially appreciated the authentic home visits—learning about rice paper, pottery, and the floating markets provided the kind of local insight you can only get with Intrepid. The hotels were also excellent, with the rooftop bars and pools being a welcome treat! Regarding the guiding, Sophia is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. However, for future travelers, it’s worth noting the tone can be quite somber. While the history of the war is vital to understand, the frequent focus on these heavy subjects did bring the mood down at times. Overall, though, this was a well-organised, moving, and culturally rich trip that I highly recommend.

My 7th/8th Intrepid tours - but this time with my Mum too - and a great Christmas trip! We learnt so much about Vietnam and Cambodia, had another great group and two fab tour guides in Hang and Long - thank you! The kayaking, bike rides and motorbike trip were highlights and the scenery and temples were stunning. Good accommodation. Highly recommend!

This fantastic itinerary takes you right into the heart of Cambodia’s history, showing you their recent dark history and now how they are beginning to move on to brighter futures. You’ll also see the world famous temples, and get to meet warm, friendly Cambodian people as they rebuild their country.
