Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
Sail up the Neretva River to Opuzen. Here, you’ll transfer to small, traditional boats and sail around the wetlands, making your way to a local restaurant on the water for Peka veal.
Discover Krka National Park, where you’ll get to see stunning waterfalls and secluded pools.
Drop anchor in the middle of port towns like Hvar or Korcula – while large cruise liners have to moor out at sea and commute into shore, you can hop on or off the boat as you please!
Dive into the aquamarine waters of the Dalmatian Coast. Weather permitting, your captain will be stopping the boat for regular swim breaks during the trip.
Take a detour to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You’ll see the town’s iconic bridge and have the chance to watch a coffee demonstration.
Is this trip right for you?
This is a small-ship adventure cruise, which means you’ll be sailing on a motor yacht with up to 35 other people. The boat is spacious and comfortable, but it focuses more on the destination than on-board activities. Instead of a pool, we have the sea itself and you’ll stop for swim stops most days. There’s also no formal dress code to worry about. Wi-fi is available onboard.
Our boat moves under engine power, rather than sailing, so all cabins will experience light engine noise when the boatis moving (and occasionally when we drop anchor). It’s probably worth packing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
Unlike other ships that cruise through the night, we’ll spend our evenings docked at port. This will give you more time to dine ashore and enjoy those balmy Croatian evenings. Cruising will mostly take place during the day.
Onshore activities and excursions will involve a bit of walking. You’ll be visiting ancient sites and historical places, and at times you may have to cross cobbled streets and uneven ground, sometimes in hot conditions. If you have any concerns, please speak to your group leader before taking part.
If you’re sensitive to seasickness, talk to your doctor before the trip about medication – however, this yacht sails close to the coastline of Croatia in often sheltered areas, so choppy water is uncommon.
There are no lifts (elevators) on-board our boats, so you’ll have to navigate a few steep flights of stairs. Handrails are always available.

Itinerary
Discover the glittering Dalmatian coast aboard the Aurora
Imagine the sun warming you while you lean over the side of a boat, peacefully watching the clear water wash against the limestone cliffs and pebbly shores of Croatia. This eight-day small-ship cruise offers plenty of that idle relaxation, broken upwith exciting activities like a river cruise and a walk to the waterfalls of the Krka National Park. Take on expeditions like a winery trip near Korcula and get a taste of what the Dalmatian Coast has to offer, all with a local leader and group of likeminded travellers.

Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Guide, crew and boat were fantastic.itinerary was a good mix of beautiful swim stops, visits to interesting towns with local guides to brief us on the history. Enough time to explore by ourselves and find hidden gems. Perfect way to experience the Croatian coast.

This vacation adventure in Croatia was nothing less than amazing! From beautiful Dubrovnik to all the swim stops and visits we did in those quaint sea towns during our cruise towards Split, with the new people I met, I will always keep good memories of this trip.

Our small ship cruise from Dubrovnik to Split was our best holiday yet. It was relaxing and informative. Our guide, Dinko was great, very helpful and informative. Just the right amount of group activities and free time. Gorgeous ship, very spacious. It was only half full so we felt very spoilt. I couldn’t recommend it more. It was our first Intrepid trip and we will definitely holiday with them again. They clearly know what they are doing and know what people like.

Highly recommend a tour cruising through Croatia! The country is absolutely breathtaking and getting to experience it by boat was simply fantastic. Food on board exceeded expectations. Swim stops were always fun. Getting to unpack our bags and stay in one place (with boat accommodation) was very nice as well.
