Trip Informations
Imagine the sun warming you while you lean over the side of a boat, peacefully watching the clear water wash against the limestone cliffs and pebbly shores of Croatia. This eight-day small-ship cruise offers plenty of that idle relaxation, broken up with exciting activities like a river cruise and a walk to the waterfalls of the Krka National Park. Enjoy a guided walk through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old City of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then see how Bosnian coffee is made. Take a winery trip near Korcula and get a taste of what the Dalmatian Coast has to offer, all with a local leader and group of likeminded travellers.
Why you’ll love this trip
Sail up the Neretva River to Opuzen. Here, you’ll transfer to small, traditional boats and sail around the wetlands, making your way to a local restaurant on the water for Peka veal.
Discover Krka National Park, where you’ll get to see waterfalls and secluded pools.
Drop anchor in the middle of port towns on the islands of Hvar and Korcula – while large cruise liners have to moor out at sea and commute into shore, you can hop on or off the boat as you please!
Dive into the aquamarine waters of the Dalmatian Coast. Weather permitting, your captain will be stopping the boat for regular swim breaks during the trip.
Take a detour to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. You’ll see the town’s UNESCO World-Heritage-listed bridge and have the chance to watch how Bosnian coffee is made (and taste the coffee for yourself!).
Is this trip right for you?
This is a small-ship adventure cruise, which means you’ll be sailing on a motor yacht with up to 35 other people. The boat is spacious and comfortable, but it focuses more on the destination than onboard activities. Instead of a pool, we have the sea and you’ll stop for swim stops most days. There’s also no formal dress code to worry about. Wi-fi is available on board.
Our boat moves under engine power rather than sailing, so all cabins will experience light engine noise when the boat is moving (and occasionally when we drop anchor). It’s probably worth packing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
Unlike other ships that cruise through the night, we’ll spend our evenings docked at port. This will give you more time to dine ashore and enjoy those balmy Croatian evenings. Cruising will mostly take place during the day.
Onshore activities and excursions will involve a bit of walking. You’ll be visiting ancient sites and historical places, and at times you may have to cross cobbled streets and uneven ground, sometimes in hot conditions. If you have any concerns, please speak to your group leader before taking part.
If you’re sensitive to seasickness, talk to your doctor before the trip about medication – however, this yacht sails close to the coastline of Croatia in often sheltered areas, so choppy water is uncommon.
There are no lifts (elevators) on board our boats, so you’ll have to navigate a few steep flights of stairs. Handrails are always available.

We loved the cruise. The boat was comfortable, especially with only 21 passengers. Our group was fantastic, and both tour guides, Ivana and Mia, were fun and enthusiastic. The trip was a great balance of relaxation and sightseeing – including exploring the islands, docking ports, excursions, swim stops, and the plentiful, delicious food. We loved docking at some lesser-known spots, which felt more authentic and less crowded including Jelsa on Hvar Island and Omis (around 40 minutes from Split). Along with the swim stops while cruising between destinations, it was wonderful to return from our day trips and cool off with a swim at the local beach.

Incredible trip through the beautiful Adriatic coast, checks off the must see destination while giving you a more off the beaten path, authentic and truly beautiful experience. And tons of swim stops! Korcula, Omis and Jelsa I wouldn’t have visited without the trip and they are some of my favorites now. Wouldn’t change a thing, loved our tour leaders too. Highly recommended.

Intrepid allowed my wife and I to celebrate on honeymoon in style. We sailed the coast of Croatia and felt catered to by an entire staff that were so knowledgeable, friendly, and warm throughout the 8 days we were together. The entire experience was lovely.

The trip was amazing. Our 2 tour guides Ivana and Mia worked really well as a team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Sharing their wealth of knowledge about everything Croatian. Plus they had a great sense of humour and fun.

Book this trip now, and my hope is that you meet similar amazing people as I did on my trip. So many great memories of the people and places.

I’ve never fancied a cruise before but this was a dream come true for me - living for a week on a small yacht with the friendliest of other travellers and crew and being able to swim in that beautiful, clear, calm, blue sea every day. Fabulous!

This was a fantastic trip. The boat is perfect size and very comfortable, itinerary was great a good mix of sonic beauty, swimming and historic/cultural sights. Our trip had 32 passengers which was ideal, I would recommend this trip to anyone, We went in June and the weather was very god, I was told July and August can be very hot.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise from Dubrovnik to Split. We had a good mix of chilled time (swimming etc), visiting main tourist spots and less frequented spots - enjoyed the variety of the cruise. Great tour leaders and the crew made it special too! Highly recommend!
