7. Ramadan is an exciting time to travel through Morocco but there are also a few things to bear in mind. Meal times will be a lot later than you may be used to, in particular dinner. You will find restaurants will open at 7–7.30 pm in the evening for dinner. Which will mean your family may not be eating dinner until 8–8.30 pm. Likewise breakfast may not start until 7 am. As you travel through the countryside there will be limited small road side cafes to stop at. Your leader will pre-plan where to stop to ensure families have access to snacks and bathroom stops along the way. Morocco is a Muslim country therefore alcohol is not readily available, particularly during Ramadan.

Wonderful family trip to Morocco with a well-planned itinerary and a great pace—never rushed, yet we saw so much. Our guide, Mohammad, made it truly enjoyable with his knowledge and care. Everything felt smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for families looking for a memorable experience.

Our Family Comfort Morocco journey was deeply memorable and one we’re grateful to have experienced. Morocco is a country best understood by moving through it, and families should know there is a fair amount of time spent traveling between regions by van—but that movement is part of what allows you to witness the country’s remarkable diversity, from bustling medinas to mountain passes to the Sahara.
What made the trip especially meaningful was the connection between the families. Watching our kids bond so quickly and share adventures they’ll remember for years to come was incredibly special.
Our trip leader, Oualid, was an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person who brought warmth, steadiness, and heart to the experience. By the end of the trip, it felt like we had all found our rhythm together—and could have happily traveled longer.
We also deeply appreciated the emphasis on responsible travel and creating a positive local impact along the way. A clear highlight for many of us was the unforgettable night in the Sahara Desert, riding camels into the dunes under the vast evening sky. A truly impactful experience.

Elhoussine Ali Ahmad made our family comfort tour of Morocco come alive. We loved the variety of places, food and experiences the tour offered. The camel ride and hike up a sand dune for sunset was a highlight but so much was wonderful. Thank you

Khaled lead/managed a VERY good cultural, etc experience. We wanted to take a trip where we took our three boys off the beaten path, and to experience a new culture with a sense of purpose and dedication. Khaled helped all five of us do that (is. Parents AND kids; he tailored the trip to each of us). The itinerary was absolutely perfect; all places we stayed at were fantastic; all places we visited were perfect; time allocated for travel and activities was absolutely well-balanced. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip or guide!

Morocco is a fascinating country, more developed than you might think. The people are very friendly, our guide, Hamou was excellent. Some long travel days and accommodation is more basic in the desert, but scenery is stunning. We were the only family on our tour so maybe not the usual family tour experience.

Excellent combination of sights, travel and downtime for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. Having all the logistics taken care of meant we could relax and enjoy our travels and time hanging out together. The tour was well organised, our guide was friendly and approachable, and communication for the timing of all travel and activities was very clear. We ended up being the only people in our tour so ended up with a private tour of Morocco, which was amazing!
