Trip Informations
Grab the whole family and head out on an unforgettable adventure through India’s north – a place full of colours, delicious food and wow-worthy landscapes. Eat lots of curry and naan in Delhi, stroll through the Pink City of Jaipur and explore the depths of the lush Ranthambhore National Park. Of course, no visit to India is complete without the Taj Mahal – an epic monument to love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World! With plenty of cultural highlights for the adults and heaps of exciting activities for the kids, this trip is bound to inspire the whole tribe!
Why you’ll love this trip
Immerse yourself with the sights and smells of buzzing Delhi as you walk through the colourful markets and bazaars and feast on street chaats (Indian snacks like fried flatbread).
Tick an iconic sight off your list and see the Taj Mahal in the glowing morning light. This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the Wonders of the World and you’ll see why!
Explore the depths of Ranthambhore National Park – it’s like the Jungle Book has been brought to life! Keep your eyes peeled for gazelle, antelopes and the stealthy Bengal tiger during two game drives.
Discover the traditional and vibrant city of Jaipur on walking tours with your local leader, and see why it’s known as the ‘Pink City’.
Experience a special stay in a 17th-century palace in Alsisar – with its grand courtyards and arcades, you (and the kids!) will feel like royalty.
Is this trip right for you?
This trip involves some long bus and train rides, which can be tiring but offer a quintessential experience of the Indian landscape and people.
We visit several temples on this trip, which requires a certain level of modesty. Please bring clothes that cover the arms and pants/skirts that go past the knees. A light scarf is also a good idea for covering shoulders and arms when it’s hot.

Excellent guided tour. Personal involvement was appreciated. Starting day was disappointing as we were taken to filthy narrow lanes of old Delhi.

A great introduction to Northern India with so much in the itinerary to tempt you back. Really well planned to suit kids and adults alike with plenty spare time for enjoying the pools or exploring more. Felt 100% safe all of the time with kids aged 8 and 10. Gajrag our guide was brilliant and had lots for advice to get the best out of the trip.

An amazing trip which was perfectly planned for all members of the facility to enjoy. Gajraj was a brilliant guide and ensured everyone was happy and well looked after. Would definitely recommend this as a family trip for all ages. Our girls were age 8 and 10 and was a perfect pace for them.

This trip was life-changing for my family, and for my five year old daughter it was magic from start to finish. The activities each day were perfectly balanced, my daughter was never bored or over tired, and our guide Kushal was practically family before the end of day 1. I couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction to India for our daughter.

We took our kids (11 &12 years old) on the Northern Family India Tour with Shakti as our guide and it was phenomenal! The intrepid tour was full of gorgeous forts and palaces, fascinating tours and fun for the whole family. It was a great way to start our month in India. Our family will remember it forever! Highly recommend
