Trip Informations
Why you’ll love this trip
verified
Only Petra’s Treasury – one of the Seven Wonders of the World – is stunning enough to be the temple of the Holy Grail. Your pass to this sacred site lasts two full days so that you can explore every nook and cranny at your own pace.
verified
See the lowest point on earth – the Dead Sea – and float in its famously salty waters, soaking up its healing minerals and lathering yourself in the rejuvenating mud (if the mood strikes).
verified
Sleep under the stars at a Bedouin-style camp in Wadi Rum with all the creature comforts, waking for a stunning sunrise and a thrill-seeking 4WD adventure.
verified
Take a guided walk around Amman to learn about the city’s diverse history (and also to stake out where to get the best falafel and hummus).
verified
Get a taste of the ancient and modern sides of Jordan with loads of free time – just ask your knowledgeable local leader, who’s always ready to answer every question and provide the best local tips.
Is this trip right for you?
verified
You’re the boss on this trip. There’s loads of free time to do whatever you want or optional activities to show you the way. With so much to see and do, Jordan can sometimes be expensive, so budget a little extra cash for activities that aren’t included.
verified
It’s not all hot desert days in Jordan, as the winter months (December to February) can be quite cold. Temperatures in northern parts of the country can drop to freezing overnight. Snowfall around these areas, as well as Amman, is common. Pack smart to prepare you for varying temperatures if travelling during these months.
verified
There is quite a bit of walking involved in visiting Jordan's historic sites, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Most of the time there is no shade so remember to bring a hat, sun protection, and sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.
verified
This trip is part of a longer itinerary. You might be joining travellers who have already spent some time together. If you have more time to explore, you might like to check out Real Egypt & Jordan.

Loved our week in Jordan, Omar was an incredible tour leader. Felt perfectly safe considering conflicts nearby. Busy trip but we got to see so much in a week. Highlight was camping at wadi rum.

Incredible adventure, I'd highly recommend this trip through Jordan - Jordan is a welcoming, fun, incredible, and safe place. I was amazed by its offerings and really enjoyed my time in Jordan with Intrepid and Mohammad Momani as our host and lead.

An amazing trip for anyone looking to explore Jordan! Travelling with a group of like-minded strangers who quickly become friends makes the experience that much more fun. Be ready for a fair bit of walking (comfy shoes are non-negotiable), and the heat can hit hard, so come prepared. But honestly? The epic scenery makes it all 100% worth it.

Great trip and even better guide.
Only thing that could improve, is the places we ate. 12 JOD for a buffet full of hair and below average food, vs I could find a very nice meal for myself elsewhere for about 6JOD.
