I was hesitant about this trip at first as I have never participated in group travel before and let me say that I was not disappointed. So happy I made this decision. I met some amazing people and got to experience amazing sights. Nights on the boat away from the throngs of tourists under the stars are truly a unique experience. Getting to snorkel with black-tipped reef sharks in Maya Bay with no one else around was absolutely something I will remember forever! I would do this trip again and again!

The best decision I made was booking this trip! It was full of unbelievably good Thai food, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, laughs, and plenty of time in the water and sun. I can’t wait to book the next sailing trip! Special thanks to the crew (Rob, Do, Chai and Da) for making my holiday so memorable!

If you are considering doing this trip I say DO IT! If you want a relaxing, get away from it all type trip with plenty of island hopping, snorkelling, swimming in the sea, kayaking and paddle boarding, are happy with comfortable but not luxurious accommodation ( it is a working catamaran!) and want to be extremely well fed then this is the trip you need !

The trip on board the Cataleya was a great experience thanks to the whole crew, which did an excellent job! The food was also amazing. The katamaran was in a very good state, clean and well maintained. Personally, I would rather skip PhiPhi Island, which is sadly not a place to be anymore… and in general go to less busy places or just stay on the boat and have fun snorkelling.

very amazing boat trip through the islands, you will have a great time! the shared quad cabin is the best temperature wise at night. we had amazing sunsets and adventures in the andaman sea. i would book this trip again in a hearbeat. but if you are keen on sailing, then this trip might not be for you, as we mainly traveled the itinerary and not with the wind, which made for very few sailing days. but it was not important to me so i still rate this experience 10/10, intrepid delivered once more!

This is a wonderful trip to take to explore the Islands around Phuket, Thailand. The boat & crew were wonderful. It offers natural beauty & diverse marine life. I would definitely recommend it for active and inquisitive tourists who want to immerse themselves in the place.

There is no better way to see the magical and visual splendour that is the primordial Islands of Phuket than when sailing on the 'Catalaya', and if you're fortunate to be skippered by the very capable and charismatic Nolte and his crew then your enjoyment is all but guaranteed. The ship provides all the comfort required, the food is exceptional and to be lulled to sleep by its gentle sway when sleeping under a canopy of stars on deck to awaken to an amazing sun rise is an experience not to be missed. Nolte is a font of knowledge and will keep you amused with fun facts along the way. This is a must do and one you will take pride discussing with others for years to come.
