No two journeys in Africa are identical. There will be many early starts either to make use of the better safari time or to beat the morning traffic on long travel days. Be prepared for travel times to be longer or shorter than advised. Weather and road conditions can change things significantly, so embrace the detours, shortcuts, and unforgettable moments along the way.
verified
This is an overland trip. That means you’ll be travelling with a group in a purpose-built vehicle, visiting remote communities, setting up your tent, occasionally roughing it in the bush with no facilities, and getting the best possible views of iconic African wildlife. For more info on this style of travel, see our Africa overland page at tuuur.com/africa/overland.

Second leg of our Africa trip through the Serengeti, with Henry and incredible guide, Patrick a fantastic driver and Elvis a sensational chef. This was one of the most easy adventures we have been on and everything is taken care off. Allowing us to sit back and enjoy. 10/10

This trip was such an amazing experience from start to finish. Camping most nights made it feel so real and exciting, we would go to sleep with the sounds of the animals all around and wake up to some of the most beautiful sunrises ive ever seen. The guides were great at spotting things we would’ve missed and shared so much about the animals and the culture in the local area. Plus, traveling in a small group made it feel friendly and fun, like we were all sharing the adventure together. It’s the kind of trip that feels once-in-a-lifetime, and I’d say anyone who loves nature, animals, and adventure would love it.

The Serengeti trip lead by Joseph was a surreal experience, where we got to see the culture and experience the amazing wildlife Africa has to offer. Francis the driver did an amazing job a navigating us through the kenya and Tanzinia. The highlight would be Michelle and here splendid dishes that she would whip up everyday for us.
10/10 would recommend

Brilliant trip - camping in the middle of the Serengeti was a highlight, including lions roaring outside our tents at night, giraffes feeding nearby and a hyena’s footprints in the bathroom!

This was a wonderful trip! It was daunting to fly so far somewhere new, but the guides, organization, and friendliness made it easy to enjoy beautiful scenery, culture, and wildlife. There are tons of options for the Serengeti, but you know that with this team and trip, you’ll be in the best hands.
