Fantastic tour with an excellent guide and great group of people. Saw many things that we may never have seen without a tour (especially with children) and learnt a lot about the culture and the history of Vietnam. Would thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful trip. It just woks. No hassle. No drama. Our family did 11 days in Vietnam on a Family Comfort Tour. We had a wonderful time. Great experiences. The Intrepid team handled all of the up front organisation perfectly. Our tour guide, Tu Vu, was absolutely exceptional. He choreographed all of the challenging ‘on the ground! elements of the trip seamlessly. Tu’s wonderful guidance brought Vietnam to life for our family.

We had a wonderful trip to Vietnam with Intrepid. It was our first time joining an organized tour as a family, so it was a new experience for us — and we definitely didn’t regret it. Vietnam itself was amazing. We loved the food, the scenery, the culture, and the history. Traveling as a family felt easy, with good infrastructure like internet access, money exchange, banks, restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies readily available. Intrepid offers a really great tour program. The 12-day journey from south to north was very well planned, with a nice mix of activities and free time in every place we visited. We had time to explore, relax, or do our own things. The absolute highlight was the overnight boat trip in Ha Long Bay. We had a boat just for our group, and by then everyone knew each other well. We shared a wonderful evening together, and the kids especially loved it. Our guide, Lucky, was fantastic. He was always proactive, taking care of activities, hotels, and restaurants, and he adapted quickly whenever plans needed adjusting. His knowledge of Vietnamese history and local life helped us really understand the country and its people. His recommendations for optional activities and restaurants during our free time were invaluable. Thank you, Lucky! Overall, this was an amazing experience and a very special family vacation that we will always remember. We would absolutely love to do another trip like this again.
