Why you’ll love this trip
Experience the tranquil beauty of rural Vietnam while cycling through the lush rice paddies and limestone karsts of Ninh Binh.
Kayak through the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay with your family, accessing places the junk boats can't and seeing the limestone karsts up close. Paddle through grottoes, land on secluded islands and inspect stalactites in Surprise Cave.
Eat for a good cause at Hanoi's KOTO restaurant – an initiative that trains disadvantaged young people for careers in hospitality.
Wander the well-preserved architecture, riverside restaurants and shopping districts of Hoi An’s Old Town – you'll explore this UNESCO-listed city by foot and by bike!
Get active with your teens – there's nothing like a bit of family bonding while you walk, cycle and kayak through Vietnam’s beautifully scenic northern half.

My kids & I really enjoyed this tour. There was a good range of activities included. I was nervous about the amount of cycling listed on the itinerary, but the most was 40km per day which was well broken up (generally into 10km chunks). For those who are unsure about their cycle fitness, there is the option of hiring an e-bike for a relatively small extra charge. The standard bikes are good quality mountain bikes & I found them easy to ride (I normally ride an e-bike). Dat was great as our tour guide - all the kids really liked him (& the adults did too). I highly recommend this trip.

Our trip has been unforgettable—an exciting blend of cycling, kayaking, boating, and family-friendly adventures. Teenagers and parents alike found the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Guided by Long, who was caring, funny, and knowledgeable, the group adored him. Definitely one of the best experiences we’ve shared together.

Bikes, rice paddies, and way too many ‘family’ jokes from our tour guide. We learned lots of history, and ate amazing food. Would go again just for the memories, 10/10 family.

What an amazing tour this was! The perfect mix of adventure and culture and such an easy way to travel with a family of five. Our tour leader Giang was brilliant, there is nothing I would change about our time in Vietnam 🇻🇳

When I first arrived at the hotel to meet my group I was nervous as I am the type of person who struggles to meet new people but my guide helped so so much and allowed my group to become great friends. The treatment this trip had was outstanding and I definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go as you learn about the place as well as making friends 10/10 would recommend

Our biking and kayaking trip in Vietnam with our teenagers was amazing. We learned heaps, ate great food, met lovely people, and got out and about into the countryside and well away from tourist areas. A trip highlight was giving high fives on our bikes to excited local children as we rode through villages. And of course our leader, who organised things thoughtfully and brilliantly. We think he has magic powers.
